Coal Mining-Our Future is dedicated to changing the way the world views the coal mining industry and give visitors a place to learn more about the benifits of coal mining and how it affects our lives on a daily basis.  Our mission is to ensure continuous prosperity for the people of Kentucky and other regions of the world through coal mining. 

For many years people have only heard the voice of those opposing coal mining.  It is time for the world to see that there is a brighter side to coal mining and many lives, including those that oppose mining, would drasticly change if coal mining was no longer allowed.   

The Coal Mining Industry has never had a strong voice for the public to hear because those in the coal industry have been working hard to mine the coal that has provided the electricity and many other products that the public has grown accustom to using on a daily basis without giving a thought as to where that product came from or what it's made of. 

Those that oppose coal mining only tell the public one side of the story and then justify their position with images of what they want the public to believe is the only process of mining coal, the DURING.  Never telling the BEFORE and AFTER stories.  Many who oppose coal mining have never heard the other sides of the story which makes it hard for them to understand the importance of coal mining and how it affects our world on a daily basis.
